Dr. Salvo-Ale received her Dental Hygiene License in Florida State in 2007 and obtained her DDS degree for the second time in 2013 from the School of Dental Medicine at the University of Colorado. Dr. Salvo-Ale received the Gus G. Gatseos and George G. Gatseos Humanitarian Award for exceptional care, integrity, veracity, compassion, and service during her graduation ceremony.

Dr. Maritza Salvo-Ale is a Chilean-born dentist who studied dentistry in her home country at the prestigious University of Concepción. Before graduation, she participated in pharmacology research and graduated with honors. She practiced dentistry for ten years, performing preventive, restorative, cosmetic, endodontic, pediatric, prosthetic, and surgical procedures on small children, adults, seniors, and children with disabilities. She also led the Oral Education and Prevention Program, providing dental care to adults and children with periodontal pathology. Dr. Salvo-Ale worked in private practice, state programs, and a Copper Mine dental clinic, where she received a Best Employee Recognition award.

In addition to her professional work, Dr. Salvo-Ale has been involved in several community service organizations. She co-founded and directed the first free Adventist Medical-Dental Clinic in Chile, providing medical and dental care to low-income populations. In the USA, she has volunteered as a Dentist at Mission of Mercy in Georgia and Michigan and the Hispanic Health Fair in Lilburn, GA. She is a member of the American Dental Association, the Michigan Dental Association, and the Academy of General Dentistry.

Dr. Salvo-Ale is happily married to Manuel Ale, and they have three wonderful children together: Daniela, Jerdie, and Gabriel. Outside of their work, Dr. Salvo-Ale has a passion for music and loves to sing. They also find great joy in reading and embarking on adventurous road trips. These personal interests and activities contribute to their well-rounded and fulfilling life.

Office Manager

Born in the vibrant country of Chile, Manuel realized early in life that he loved working with kids and teenagers. Following his calling, he earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Education and, later, his Master’s in Educational Counseling. With a career spanning over two countries and three decades in Chile and the USA, Mr. Ale dedicated his life to teaching and developing the young minds and characters of the kids he met at his job.

When Manuel’s wife, Dr. Salvo-Ale, expressed her desire to open Affinity Dental Care, he recognized the potential for a new chapter in their lives. Driven by a shared vision of service and a deep sense of partnership, Manuel made the courageous decision to support his wife in her aspirations to open Affinity Dental Care, leading him to pursue a Master’s in Business Administration at Andrews University in Berrien Springs, Michigan, and redefine his professional path.

As he continues to navigate his new role in Affinity Dental Care, Manuel is eager to practice the intricacies of management, leadership, and entrepreneurship, always following his call to help others.
